Track a value, not a screenshot
Many website monitoring tools compare a page, screenshot or text region. LivePin is narrower: you explicitly select a compact value on the page and turn it into a persistent browser pin. The source page can then stop being the thing you repeatedly stare at.
Typical targets include prices, scores, order counts, queue sizes, percentages, balances you are authorized to view, dashboard totals, inventory counts and compact status text.
Why a website value tracker is different
If you only care whether “42” became “43”, a full visual diff can be noisy. LivePin keeps the selected value, its local change history and its refresh state together. Optional alert rules can react to conditions such as a change, equality, a value moving above or below a threshold, or matching text.

Refresh modes
LivePin can use live DOM updates while the source page is open and browser-side background techniques when possible. Compatibility varies by site. Authentication changes, CAPTCHA, iframe restrictions, content security policy and app-specific behavior can limit background refresh.
Local-first by default
LivePin does not require a LivePin account or server. Tracker configuration is stored in Chrome extension storage and local history is stored in extension IndexedDB by default. Optional Chrome Sync and webhook alerts are user-enabled features. See the Privacy Policy for details.
